Tracking systems also offer benefits to customers.  The ability to accurately tell when a  delivery will be made or when a service engineer will be arriving adds to good customer service and will impress most customers.  It also makes it easier for employees to track their working and travelling time to avoid confusion and mistakes when it comes to expenses or wages.
